Movember is theoretically about raising awareness for men’s issues of depression and prostate cancer. Capturing my photo diary of the experience, I now realise the real purpose is to allow men to answer the facial hair question: “Am I looking good?”
Movember is about raising awareness for men’s health. With every man and his black dog sporting lip warmers, the facial feature is now becoming common. In an attempt to raise the bar as well as some funds for the cause, I offer you a chance to colour my soul patch.
It’s November, and I am once again growing a moustache as part of work’s Movember initiative. Truth be told, I hate it. It itches, no kisses for a whole month, and I look like a 70’s porn star (which I hear so many complain about that I think all people do is watch 70′s porn). That said, I hate depression even more.
